Default Henderson 7-10-15....managed a little mess

Took a buddy of mine fishing and we fished for a while and caught a few Sac a Lait. Ran into Bayou Crappie that morning and he put us onto the jig and color that they wanted. I dropped my buddy off at the landing and headed back out there. The wind picked up and they started biting well for a while. Ended up with about 13-14 Nice sacs a nice Goo.Normally don't mess with them but it has been a while since I made a fish courtbouillon and my dad has made it with Goo before and it was awesome....just have to let the fish cook for a while. Throw some smoked chaurice sausage in there with some onions, bellpepper, celery, and garlic....hungry already !!! All fish were caught 2-3 feet deep on shad colored jigs. Most of them came from the southern end but we caught some north and south. Water was more dingy but fishable in North Bigeaux and the Philips area. On vacation this week so I plan on bring Dad on Monday. Good Luck Fellas !

Just cleaned them and I was suprised to find several other Sacs at the bottom under the nicer ones. Actually ended up with 21 Sacs , a small blue cat, and a Goo....hit the Trifecta again!!! LOL ....just not as tasty this time !

Definitely will... he is still in his late 50s so he still like to fish pretty hard if we catchin. I have been bringing some of those cooling towels with some ice water with FLORIDA WATER in it. Old thing we used to do when I played ball when I was younger. Those of you that know about that know how refreshing that smell is with the cooling towel....about to soak one now !!! LOL

Good job in this heat. It was 103 at my house this afternoon.
