Our water hasn't been right around here in a while I live rite on the basin an to actually get n a bunch I've been going outa town Larto lake ,Toledo bend ,an Indian creek I ain't seen it like this in years

Which sucks cause u knw the basin has some smoking spots like bayou long,Mud Cove ,Phillips, Boudreaux just to name a few

Iam goin to momma a pond in morn the hole right on side the levee close to Sandi cove landing I'll let u knw how I do there.I hav heard the boutte an duck lake is starting to turn on cause they hav some clearer water n the back just find that clearer water an you'll do better

Glad to see someone catching back there in Oak Ridge. Fished Beau Bayou and Oak Ridge the last few years and didn't have much luck. When I went the water was unusually gin clear and we didn't get a bite. Seemed like the water wasn't right to me.

If you ever wanta hook up an go I'll take u too some good spots Iam allways catching fish when it's muddy r just dwn right tough thanks to my grandpa who grew up on crook Shane almost all of his life. He showed how to fish an where to fish when nobody else is producing . Sounds good man will do...I grew up in Breaux Bridge but live in Carencro now...Gonna move back to BB in a few years. We always launch out of Benoit if we fish the Basin so I have been back there a few times. I have always said Oak Ridge is some of the most beautiful woods I have have ever fished around.
