    Default Shelbyville

Anyone fished Shelbyville lately? Haven't been on the water since the lake level has risen. My friend and I have basic electronics on the boat, so we can't do much more than fish standing timber. Are there any areas on the lake where the standing timber is visible still? I figure most of it is totally underwater at Wilborn. Not asking for anyones spot, just a nudge in the right direction so we know what ramp to use.

You can try Wolf Creek State Park, across from the ramp in Lick Creek, you can still see the timber.

There was still quite a bit of timber showing in some coves between point 3 and eagle creek resort. Lithia will have a good amount of timber showing there, too.

there's some standing timber in the wolf creek area. The bathtub is real full. High water ramps in use.

Tried Lithia and Wolf, bite was tough for us. Tried vertical jigging with shadpoles and BGBS 15-20 feet deep in deeper water. Only caught one keeper and a couple whites before we got rained on.
