Water steadily coming up, crappie do not seem to care…If you move around enough, you can still find those sac a lait. Made 3 trips in the last week, 3 different guest, results were 24, 37 and 27 sac a lait. Caught both north and south of I-10, finding fish about 2 1/2 foot deep, usually around some sort brush. Fish are schooling up, over 2 trips caught nearly 30 of one bush….some still carrying eggs. Solid gray hair jigs have worked best for me, black and chart. or some sort of brown colored jig also doing well. This last trip accounted for the smallest fish we caught, but was a numbers trip, my 89 year old father in law is not to worried about trophies right now….his quote" We'll fry those whole" was enough for me to open the ice chest for another one. Some people are having trouble catching a few, fish are there, small jigs and shade help….BCName: IMG_6484.jpg
