    Default Truman dam area

Did not go to LOZ because of water conditions but baithead wanted to check out his boat and minnowdipper wanted to fish one more day before he heads out west on vacation. Put in and tried the wier area lots of short fish every once inawhile a keeper. Left and went looking for wood to dip checked several area. Picked up a couple. Ended the day with 12 keepers and 1 channel cat. Forgot to ask Jim how many they had. No pics just a good day with the guys. Most fun was watching Jims son Caleb he is quite the young man.

We threw jigs bg scent wiggler and baby shad 1/8oz elec. chicken color. Drifted minnows on a long pole. Minnow dipper spider rigged with minnows and his son single pole with minnows. All caught fish just alot of shorts not too many keepers that day. I think casting jigs worked better early, then the minners kicked in. 15-17 ft. of water casting to bank and slow retreave. The rigging worked best 12-17ft on or close to bottom.
