    Default Zettler: hope this helps

On the right is the string, a couple pound cat will stand it up like a bobber. This jug has a zip tie on the left, to keep noodle from coming off. I never thought of gluing the noodle on instead of a zip tie or cap.

I started on mine last night only to discover that my noodles had a bigger hole than the PVC I bought...my bad.

Here is a picture of right now but I plan on buying the larger PVC, cut them into 2' sections and cut 4"-6" off my 2' foot (currently) noodles.

I still plan on trying to glue the PVC to the noodle but will now add the zip tie to the one end. I already have the hooks, line, barrel swivels and snap swivels. Hope to make maybe 20 today to try tonight - weather permitting!

I had planned on running the line through the PVC hole and the noodle, then tie the line around the noodle to help keep it on and in place, but now that I see your design, it makes better sense to do it that way.

    Thank you for your assistance!!

20 sounds like a good number. When you put them out, put even numbers in each spot. I always forget how many I put where.
    Good luck to you!
    You are more than welcome.
I think you just might make me brake mine out for tomorrow!

At my first glance ..... I thought you were doing a little "blast fishing."

We didn't do as well as hoped for on Friday night into Saturday but we didn't have any cut bait or shad and had to use leaches and worms but we managed two nice Catfish and Carp. And after my friend left around 4 AM, I went ahead and went after Crappie and almost eked out a limit while fighting off the pleasure boaters. Will post a better picture of my completed noodle next week as I left them in my boat but here is a cropped part that shows some of them in the corner of the boat:

Lookin good! I went yesterday, forgot how much work the throw net was and how messy. Only put four jugs out, that was all I could muster for bait. Had a couple empty hooks. Was BASS fishing, caught 7, one at two #. The rest between 1&2#. One on a 3armed spinnerbait, the rest on a 10" worm.

One secret I have is that I use primarily chicken liver but thats not the secret. The secret is that I thaw the liver out and put them on the hooks at home and then refreeze the liver and when I'm ready to go fishing, I just put them in a junk cooler with ice and it save you from getting you and your boat all messy and stinky when your out fishing plus it keeps the bugs from ya as bad. The liver as it thaws out in the water will leave a good scent trail this way. Give it a try and see what you think.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
