WELL, it did not go as well as i hoped, but thanks to a very good surgeon it is gonna be ok i hope. kinda sore around the incision but i am here. he originally told us that it would take about 45 minutes baring any problems. well they get me on the table and within 15 minutes my daughter gets a phone call. it was the surgeon. he advised her my 2" incision has turned into 6-7" and take 2 hours or so. And i would be here 3-4days. the he stated he may see 2-3 yearly like this one, he does literally thousands of these, this bad and that it was pretty rare. ultra sound and the cat scan did not show how bad it was. it was very scared and had a bunch of puss around it. he could not tell the G.B. from all the other stuff with out going directly in. hopefully it will heal properly in time. i highly recommend Dr.Rad Andrews, my surgeon, and equally for the staff here at Baptist East. all were very professional. i was particularly impressed when this young lady, the anesthesiologist, who ask me just before they wheeled me off if i wanted her to pray for me. i said yes mam and all of her assistants stopped what they were doing, and bowed their heads. she was very thoughtful. again thanks to all for the prayers, thoughts and info you gave me and if your GB is ever gives you any type of problem get to your primary doc and get it taken care of immediately. ..W.S.
Hope you heal up good and quick James......prayers still ongoing.

Good luck WS, I had mine out 13 years ago. A hot gaul bladder put me curled up on the floor like a baby. Some very good advice most especially Gomers ( the wiseman of c.c). Your digestive system has taken a hard left turn that you will need to adjust to.
Get well partner !

Oh, I forgot to mention about when they pull that drain out.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
