    Default Private pond dyes?

Pond management expert advice welcome. Thinking about putting pond dye in my private pond to get some color other than tea stained look.
Not supposed to be harmful to animals, fish or birds. Looking at Dunn's Fish Farm products in Oklahoma and like their prices. Just wondering
if anyone had an opinion pro or con. Thanks.

I've never seen it hurt fish. Will look great when you first put it in. A week or two later it will turn a sewer green and stay that way until it fades out. I don't like it.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

I knew a man who used it yearly, and he said it helped keep algae at a more manageable level.
