    Default Ipilot Need some HELP!!!

Alright I have installed my new minn kota terrova and my new HB859 on the front of the boat. Now I cannot connect my cables to the HB unit because there is not a threaded port on the back of it. What adapter do I need to buy for this? I know one wire is for ethernet but I am only going to run this terrova off the front HB unit for now.

Let's back up some.....You mention iPilot in your title, but have nothing in the body of the post regarding iPilot, so need some clarification there. Next, it seems like you want to run an 859 at the bow and you have a Terrova TM. But are you trying to use the US2 transducer that is built into the Terrova, or are you trying to connect the 859 transducer to the 859 head? If you want to connect a Humminbird 859 unit to the US2 transducer built into the Terrova, you will need the MKR-US2-8 adapter cable. If you want to connect the 859 to the transducer that came with it, there is another procedure to do that

Not talking about transducers. I have the transducer from the 859 on the troller. Not using the US2 ducer. I am trying to connect the troller to the HB 859 so they can talk to each other. There are 2 cables minus the one for the foot pedal. How do I connect the cables to the back of the HB 859? Do I need a adapter because they have a threaded connection and there isn't a threaded port for it on the back of the HB 859 or my HB 999.

859 requires the ethernet dongle. the new HB's don't have the threaded ethernet port like the old ones did. they have a pin plug like the ducer/power cables. Google humminbird ethernet dongle and you'll find it. Sucks pretty good when you have to get the dongle for both sides! why they don't just sell an ethernet cables with the new ends......
