Default Crappie under the lights! 6/11/15

Had some family come in from Harlen, KY. yesterday so we hit the water around 8pm! Got setup start away and had 3 nice slabs before dark! Thought he was in heaven until the yellows showed up! We fought with them for a while made a mother move and got 2 more right away and here they came again! Bait burners!!! Made one more move around 2am and got a few shorts and a couple kelpies and then the whites and strippers! Had a blast with the 10 ft rides and 4 pound test! We could only use one pole a peice! Caught about 50 night one and keep the ones that gut hooked! Got to ramp at 5am!! I've seen a bunch of guys this week fishing under light! Nice to see!!! We need to get a little tournament started ones a month or so! WHO WOULD BE INTERESTED??

I went yesterday afternoon, caught 7 in a couple hours. I left a dark looks like I might need to try some night fishing.

We got out around 11:30 on 6/12 and left out of our fishing hole around 430. We ended up keeping 30-35 but caught a ton that were too short

Do you look for brush piles in coves or main lake? Just move down here a year and a half ago still learning the lake.

I'd personally rather have a little breeze. For one thing, it helps keep the bugs away, and for another it causes surface ripples that hide movement in the boat.
