I MIGHT USE THEM EVERY NOW AND THEN I THINK THEY WORK BETTER
BUT THE LED'S ARE JUST EASIER TO DEAL WITH
    I USE A 150 WT SODIUM LIGHT TO SOMETIME'S

Petromax and Aida are a couple of the better ones made, but there are now a lot of Chinese knock offs being made now and they're made with some real thin material, the tanks will split and leak real easy. The Butterfly, Sea Anchor, Wenzel, Egret Brand are some to look out for. Not real quality. The Petro, Aidas, Hipolito, Aida. Most all of these are good quality. But most of all of the above have interchangable parts.. I'm not sure how many of these type that I have maybe, 15 or so. Of this type lantern, the one that I like the best is "The Work Horse". It was made in the Amish country, on the base unit of the Petromax and used a cut off valve like the Coleman lanterns. not a NRV, "Non Return Valve". If you want a real work hore kerosene lantern look for a Coleman 237, it a large single mantle lantern and is a 500 candle power output lantern. It looks like the model 200, red lantern" but on steroides. The dual mantle Coleman lanterns are 200 candle power lanterns...Lanterns are a fun thing to play with..

I think I'm going to hit hartwell tomorrow night to get a little practice in for the 20th. If anyone is going to be out I'll be somewhere near friendship landing in a camo lowe boat

How did nightstalk go? I was at Portman to fish and I couldn't take the crowd a little to much for my liking with the poker run going on, I can't imagine how rough water was until dark, looking forward to the next one, I went to martins creek instead.

I guess I won the night stalk since I was the only one to show up. Lol nah I still went even tho it got postponed. It ended up being a good night. The wind felt great and kept the bugs away. I ended up catching 20 crappie and one cat.
