    Default Moon jigs

Anybody use skipper moon jigs ?
Do you use them just like any other jig or different.
I want to give them a try spider rigging with minnows.
    Thanks

Use them just like a jig....tip them with minnows. I use them and make my own ice jigs and mylars.

tie them with a loop knot.............minnow tip
I use a leader to swivel of about 1 1/2 - 2ft when spider riggin

Keep several colors on hand.............to see what fish are wanting............

Can also go slightly heavier with the "wobbel" jig - somewhat like a ice/moon jig
only heavier and slight angle bend giving different water action

Pretty much the same, although, moon is bigger than normal 1/64th - 1/80 ice jig

Moon is closer to 1/16th............some are made bigger up to 1/8

    Skipper's Jigs
    352 874-5459
    Deland, Fl.
    www.skippersjigs.com

They pour all their own / plus all jigs are hand tied in USA

You can buy almost any style jig head with any size hook including
    gold bronze & sickle

If you want something made - talk to Scott - either send what you want
made or explain it enough that he knows and he can do it

Mylar style jigs are the most popular down here but have found they work
just about anywhere. They are made up in houndreds of colors...
    Hotpink - Orange - Blue - Green - Buttercup - Red/white being the most
    popular in stained water
