    Default Map cards?

    Hey guys,
I was wondering what your thoughts are for the best map program for The hummingbird are.
Looks like lake master is Hummingbirds choice.
I was looking for Lake of the Ozarks, mark twain and Truman.

    thanks

There are always upgrades, so I don't know who is best right now. Lakemaster was the best for Truman because they went further up into the creeks, but they also mapped it when it was at a high water level, so the lake level has to be reset each time. At one time it was said that LOZ wasn't very well mapped.....not enough contour lines to suit most, but I don't know if that was Lakemaster or Navionics. I think the new H'birds will accept either, but I won't even swear to that. Never been on Twain and haven't spent enough time on LOZ to give an informed opinion.

I have Lakemaster on my Humminbird and love it. It is very accurate on LOZ and shows docks and no wake buoys. I went to Bass Pro before I bought mine and the salesman installed one and let my play with it. I found the best price on one at Wal-Mart's online store. Think it was $98.

I got the Lakemaster from Brian at
BBG marine. It's the best I have ever used. Plan to upgrade my bow unit with the same chip soon.
God bless Charlie Brewer and Bobby Garland.

Ive used the Lakemaster Central Plains chip and includes most of MO. lakes. It is extremely detailed (I live on LOZ) and very accurate.

Lakemaster it is! Wal-mart has them online for $87.00 free shipping. I will call Brian at BBG if he is close I will spend my money with him. Good knowleable guy.

Lake master is the best out right now. Contour lines every two foot. Los was remapped in fall of 2013. I believe it only works in hummingbird units now.

Can't go wrong with the LakeMaster. The contour lines are off for Truman. But the sweet thing is with LakeMaster is that unlike others you can change the offset of the contours for any lake. So if the lake is high or low you can make it match instead of having to guess. I check mine each trip as I idle out to the no wake buoy's. I also like the shallow water highlight so you know what is safe to run/idle through and what is not. I need to get another one for my 1159 up front so I don't have to move it back and forth. I thought they were MAP priced but will check out Walmart to see about getting it cheaper than the $124.99 I gave for mine last year.
