Default Maybe moving to central TN...

    All,

I may be moving to central TN, and I am looking for advice on a quality school system 60-90 minutes from Franklin. Ideally, there would also be a super lake nearby with houses/acreages for sale.

Any ideas guys? Please send me a personal email with your thoughts and thank you in advance.

    Joel

Welcome to Tennessee. I live in East TN, Chattanooga area so I am unable to provide any advice on schools. I am sure someone from Middle TN will be pm'ing you.

Best School Districts in Tennessee - TN District Rankings

Franklin seems to have the best around. Franklin is about 35 minutes from Percy Priest, about an hour to Old Hickory, about 2.5 from Kentucky lake. All good lakes.
The Middle Tn Crappie Club Fish's Normandy, Woods, and Tim's Ford which are all 1.5-2.5 hours from Franklin. Murfreesboro is about 35 minutes from Franklin and is closer to all the lakes except Kentucky lake. Murfreesboro is ranked 14th. The property value in Franklin and Murfreesboro is high for around here. It would be what kind of land you are looking for and price you would want to pay. The farther south you get from Franklin the cheaper the land is. Maybe the link will help. Good luck and welcome to Tennessee.
