    I've always been carefull about my spending habits but about 12-14 years ago I started listening to Dave. I'm sure glad I paid attention, because it made a big difference when the disaster struck.

    Thanks everyone for the nice comments. We are very fortunate to have made such progress since last years tornado. I have also learned the true value of friends and prayers. Everything we think we own is just stuff that can be replaced. Most of it is junk you don't really need. Value your friends and relatives, they are irreplaceable

    I've been debt free for most of my life. Makes a huge difference in how you save money.

    Bad Credit has its advantages. Lol

    I don't even Take credit cards at the shop. I don't need a 20% partner just to swipe a card. I live on less than that.
    20,000 boat
    10% profit--2,000
    Tax--1540
    Total 23540
    2% cost to swipe a card--478.00.

    Almost 25% of my 2k profit.
    I DONT THINK SO!!!!!!!!!
