There are a lot of Truman guys on here, I am sure someone will give you some good info. I like jigs and timber but have great luck with dragging orange crawdad cranks when it gets hot out

I would be jigging timber, or maybe just a minnow and a hook but still be in the timber... gonna try this myself if I can get away this weekend.

There will be a lot more info shared after this weekends two day tournament. Most everyone will be pretty tight lipped until after it is over. But I will tell you right now it is a tough bite. If the lake will mellow out a little and get some sunshine the bite should turn on by the time you get here.

Thanks. It really is a tough bite and has been the last few weeks. I believe the best bite is on the lower end of the lake. Several guys trolling cranks with some success. If the sun would ever shine for a few days they should get on thier summer pattern and will be caught dipping. Shoot me a PM before you head this way so I don't forget and I will get you an up to date report.

Not sure but some forums require 10 post before you can pm some one.

If all else fails, I caught a lot of crappie last weekend off the concrete dock below the dam in Warsaw. The water was running some through the dam and bright colored jigs tipped with niblets worked the best. Good luck and welcome to this site.
