Nice mess of fish. One question if I might. We both fish Ky - Barkley and I'm thinking seriously of getting into the crankbait pushing thing. I don't really have the coins for a Spyderlok, etc. rod holder setup but have access to some cheap Driftmaster clone setups where the base screws directly to the gunwale of the boat. Only thing is they are made with a 20 degree lift and I'm not sure how that would work trolling cranks. I notice your holders seem to be at the level. Should I be ok with the 20's ? Thanks

Way to go. I'm in the same boat as you due to creating a crankbait monster in my wife also. Nice fish too you caught

I want my rod tips close to the water just like longlining or spider rigging. That puts my rods pretty much level with the bait action pulling it even further toward the water. I also want my rods up to where my old bones don't have to bend over to get a rod out of a holder. Only you can decide if your set-up is OK for your application.

Well seems it would only take a little tweak and I could turn the 20 degree into something more level if need be. Thanks for the input.
