Never heard of tubing at night. Would not be surprised if some imbibing of libations was taking place. Other than my little rant, I wanted to say Great report. Would have liked some pix, but it is entered in the Slider contest. "D"

Went to Harris around 5:30 yesterday evening. As soon as I got to my honey hole I got pounded by the white perch. Put a couple dozen in the boat in no time. Caught a crappie every so often and they had some nice size, 12 to 15". During the daylight hours the crappie were much harder to come by but when I put the lights in the water they really seemed to come alive. Caught probably 3 dozen nice ones before leaving at 11:30 (ran out of minnows). Caught most fish in 20-25' of water on minnows and jigs. I've been trying a few different techniques lately to see if any were way better than another so I didn't anchor with the lights out but did a slow troll and did real well. All crappie were put in underwater cages and waiting for the night stalk.
As usual I have an interesting and alarming report on the other boaters. Last night I heard a boat running down the middle of the lake with people hooping and hollering but didn't see any lights. Finally saw the boat by a few lights on their stereo system and a guy tubing behind the boat with glow sticks in his hands. Be careful out there guys when you're running up the lake at night.
