Welp,,,ima hater!! I hate I can't do anything with these flaps....guess I'm going to cut em off. Hard to look through them for trotline jugs. With only 1 Velcro strap and it's in the middle both ends flop in the wind when rolled up ..but on the other hand /shade was nice today

Gene Johnson AKA EZ Pole Holder makes a really nice umbrella holder that fits on the seat pedestal. The umbrella will swing out of your way some to land a fish or allow you to pass between two seats up front. It is threaded with a set bolt to secure your sportbrella from being blown out of the holder by the wind.

I built two of the PVC holders and used heavy PVC but wind kept grabbing the umbrella and breaking the PVC. The umbrella holders that I purchased from Gene were money well spent. Gene can be found on the MS board and he is a super nice gentleman to do business with. Gene also designed the spyderlok rod holders.

Thanks for the post I have been trying to catch the sportbrella on sale to purchase another one. We keep one in the boat at all times for rain and shade this time of year.
