    Default Fishing Report with Grandkids

I wanted to take my 2 grandkids fishing so we went to a local small lake (Cryderman) where there is normally a good population of bluegills. A friend said they caught around 50 a couple days ago.
I rigged up their poles with a standard hook, sinker, worm and bobber and set the bobber depth at around 4 feet. It didn't take long and my grandson caught the first gill, a short time later the granddaughter caught her first bass.
We were only able to fish for a couple hours because of a family function they needed to go to, but in that amount of time the kids landed about 25, and 10 of those were taken home for their dad to clean (one nice thing about being a grandpa.....let their daddy clean their catch!)

Awesome job Steve. Love the kids and the pictures. Looks like a couple new crappie camp members!

One of many advantages to being a "papa". Thx for sharing.
