Default Late Report - Jack Millers 6-5-15

Made a trip to jack millers on Friday (6-5). Caught 15 bass or so on and kept 7. Fished for sacs after and picked up three real quick then that was it. Bass were caught on a chrome rattle trap in Grand River and sacs were caught in bulltail in the shade of overhanging trees. Been a slow year so far with high water.

I couldn't sleep anymore the next morning and my little girl woke up at 430 and she was ready to go so we ate, I drank some coffee and we headed out. We fished for maybe an hour until she got restless then we came home and went back to sleep, hah.

Stilllllll waiting for river to come down......

    Hey Bro:
Haven't seen you in a while. I guess getting that new house tied you up.
Anyway, that's a nice mess of fish. I've been trying to get out but been busy. I went down to Houma several weeks back and PawPaw Gene took me out to the Orange Grove and showed me around. Wanting to make another trip down there real soon. If the water EVER gets right here, I owe him a trip. He wants to learn more about Sorrel, but I might take into Bull Tail. Can't wait cause he's a hoot to fish with. I had tons of fun.
That little girl just keeps getting prettier and prettier. I bet she's a hand full.
    See ya on the water.

    Paul

No, water was still high but had been about two weeks since a gusher so it had been stable a while......water in grand river looked decent all the way from where it hits the intracoastal to about the bend at the mouth of superior canal
