Just an FYI if you are traveling this July 4th for parties and fireworks. If you end up in Martinsville and go to the city park. Be sure to bring your rod and reel and some jigs and nibbles that little lake they have there is full of crappie and some of them are 12-14 inches long. A whole lot of the fish look just like the ones from Monroe and the Cat. This is a small lake and no license required or at least no one has ever been check that I know of. There is also some nice cats there also.
