Default Watts Bar for a change:Report

Had some new toys come in the mail from a good Kentucky friend. Couldn't sleep last nite thinking about giving them a dip today. Went to a flat area near the main river after lauching at Hornby Hollow. Lots of boat traffic and water chiggers but we survived. Pulled my new offerings with the help of my friend Sailfish for 4 hrs (blind) transducer crashed and managed 12 keepers 15 shorts. Most were taken on Hot Pink, White, and a Chartruse with white sides. Fishing and area we had fished before that we knew was between 20-35 ft deep moving from 1.7 to 2.0 mph thats to the I-pilot controll. Two biggest fish weighted 1.95 Black and a 1.55 white. Very little wind and a good day to be out. Saw lots of fish in the jumps. guess they were white bass but we didn't fool with them. thanks Doug your
    products are second to none.

Good deal on a change of scenery. Congrats on a good day.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Way to go Chris. I'm glad your back is better.

Funny, that tiger stripe crank is showing up in lots of pics up this way. Keeping those to yourself? As bad as it pained me to put UT orange on a crank, it is killing them on KY Lake. Rickie and I caught some really good fish (1 almost 16") right in front of a couple of old guys dunking minnows yesterday. It got their attention.

Hey, TC .... them girls you're holding up look like they're still egg laden, or were they full of Shad ?

Let me guess ... your cranks were running about 12-15ft deep ??

WB's water level hasn't changed much in the last week or so, so has the thermocline set up ??

Never fished Hornsby Hollow area, but I bet my C.c friend from Va, Don G, has

Nice catch. The secret is out about "the bar". Very nice looking fish and great looking crankbaits. Nice colors for sure.
