Not trying to sell or advertise if you have not tried the arkie sexy tail shad's(black/chart,pearl colors are hard to beat might be worth your time. Made some jig heads(Name: Picture 023.jpg

Size: 48.7 KB1/64 oz)(have been making them for him for years )We are putting a #6 hk (calls for an #8) for a trout/crappie guide on the north fork river. He came to greers and gave us a crappie lesson using arkie tubes and arkie sexy tail shads(am sure others will work) arkie is what he was using(did not take long for me to switch)espically with the tough bite this spring not only do they catch trout but the crappie love them also. Arkie has the 1/64 oz jigheads. We cast these on 4 lb test and bass pro crappie max rods(different lengths) designed for (1/64 oz jigheads)this tech. The slow fall of this bait is key to this crappie catching, trout, catching and other fish Tech.

Size: 43.1 KB This is a couple pic's of setup'sone is an 7' the other is 8 ' bassPro crappie max rod's and reels, 4 lb test 1/64 and 1/24 oz jigheads has been deadly. We have been using this spring and summer to catch crappie on our lakes and streams. The trick to this tech is to really slow down and let the bait fall beside the bush, tree, brushpile.Has even worked in the current on the white river. Hope this helps some catch more crappie. Good fishing.

Can put clips and have glue. You taught me to keep the bait as natural as you can a little pain but worth the gain. Espically. (Natural fall) when fishing the river.
