Default Rigging, left handers on the right and right handers on the left?

What do you think of the mental picture of that set up?

Four rods, all with left hand retrieve bait casters on the right and four right handers on the left set(pick it up and reel in/release line, what ever is the case) verses pick it up, switch hands, reel it in/release line...

I've got 10 left handers for sale in the trader thread, but thought of the mentioned set up last night on my way to sleep.

Opinions? Keep in mind I'm usually fishing alone.

What if I use my left hand to reel but pick up a right hand retrieve or my right hand trys to reel a left hand retrieve or......man no wonder I don't rig. It's hard like math Joedog.

Okay G true answer if I'm fishing most of the time ,I would want the rods set up for me and thats on the left side someone else might want the right side. I wouldn't want them to be diffrent.

What ya gonna do when they come for you????? When two or more poles go down at once????

You have to dream about things like that when you get up in years like some of us.....

Besides if you put them handles on the wrong side I would never find 'em..........

Are you rigging from the road, or from the water?!

Read Gordon's original post, made sense to me.
    Then things went berserk.

    Funny though.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Sounds like you got it figured out, but 3 poles is about max for me. Good Luck
