I found 2 used 798's and don't use the SI much up front but there are times that it's great to have. I will be getting a bigger screen for the console. I turn the console unit around and fish facing backwards using the fob to control when trolling and the detail is too small for my aging eyes. A DI unit on the front and a 998 on the console would do me just fine, though I know the impact on the budget would be tough.

I am thrilled, I mean THRILLED. Tight little unit. Smaller screen isnt too bad, and it makes up for it with its sharpness. A big plus for the boat and on a budget..........yea baby The value Im feeling, makes any wallet discomfort almost an after thought. Happy happy happy indeed!

Yes. I picked up the SI / DI / GPS combo. They offer I believe four models, of which the SI unit being on the top end at $499.00. I'm so impressed if it wasn't for the fact of already owning an 800 I would have bought another one for the front of the boat. Great little unit for the price.
