Thread: 6/6/15 CCL Report

Hit CCL. Didn't get on the water till noon. We were boat 27 at that point. Lots of people hitting that lake. Anyway crappie and walleye wouldn't cooperate. Caught some nice smallies. Lost what would've been my personal best at the boat side as my brother tried to lip it. Should've just used the net like he wanted too. Caught 4 others that required the net.


Also got into some nice bluegill


Caught a couple whites and a catfish to round out the day. Didn't catch anything drifting the flats. We each lost a fish drifting. That lake seems to not be right yet. I am gonna set my sights on Melvern and give CCL a rest I think. However if you want to catch smallies hit CCL. We caught probably 30 and could've caught a lot more if we would've stuck with it.
