No we were longlineing jig in about 12 fow

Mike, if you don't mind me asking did you find them back in the creeks or towards the points? I have had some very unproductive trips here lately, can't seem to figure them out this year. I will be going Friday afternoon/night

Best I can figure there scattered I found them off the main lake on rock banks trolled as close to where the bank dropped off to deep water hope that makes sense lol.

Went today ... got started fishing around 7AM & quickly found out the Crappie are not hanging over the blowdowns I usually fish. Started pushing jigs at around 10ft deep over 14-16fow & managed to bring home 13 fish. One weighed a pound, and the others were 10-11". Managed to let 3 keepers get off the hook .... first time I've done that in a long time !!

Fish basically stopped biting for me around Noon, which was fine by me, as I was getting tossed around pretty good by the boat traffic waves around that time.

Purple/chartreuse seemed to be the favorite color combo, today. But I did see one feller two polling with limetreuse jigs and catching fish. Said he had caught a ton of throwbacks ... but I only had maybe 2 or 3 throwbacks.

Several fish cleaned had eggs, some still bright yellow & some dark orange. All but two of the 13 I caught were Black Crappie, including the 1lb fish. They were still scattered, as I didn't catch any two fish in the same general area.

Water temp - around 77-79deg
Water clarity - heavy stained

That's all I got, for this trip. Might try again during the week ahead.
