Honestly, that's exactly what I was gonna do. However, my buddy and I decided that we might go halves on another boat we found and rig it out for crappie instead. I've already got all the rods, etc. So, we are going to look at that boat this afternoon probably.
I won't be at work........I'm feelin' crappie today!

Good luck with the other boat. StumpHunter (on the SC boards) has a fully loaded yak, depth finder, trolling motor, and all, and his club fishes quite often and he posts ALOT of pics of some very nice fish they catch. Makes me wanna catch some from a yak. It really looks like fun. Congrats on your trip an the catch and thanks for the report.
