    Default How high is the water?


    Finished rigging the new Carolina Skiff. Thinking it needs to head for the bayou. How's the water level an fishing after all the rain?

    very high and rising.......not much going on in the Verrett basin area.....they finally lifted the "idle only" speed in the Belle River area.....Henderson is rising again......don't think anyone is fishing the Bayou Corne area.....the last reports I saw from there was not encouraging......

    Thanks Bruce. Sounds like I can wait another week or two...see if it goes down. I would like to fish the south Verrett area too.

    Anyone been o the Tickfaw, Blood, or anywhere in that area?

    I fished tickfaw a couple weeks ago and did ok . The rain and south winds have been tough . Hoping all that water gets out by the weekend .
