Ended up with 9 on Friday and 10 Sunday. They were slamming the jig early both days, then all decided to clock out and head home around lunch. Sunday the bite was good early but then went to the light side quick. Lost 3 at the surface or at the boat KY Lake 5/29 & 5/31
Seems that the fish are still scattered. The corp needs to get the lake down and stable or it could mess up a great month of crappie fishing. Still learning this spider rigging gig. Trying to learn the summer patterns and tendencies. I caught all of these the ole fashion way! Any spider tips I would definitely listen.

Weather men and women need to be disciplined for lying to us fisherman!!

    Congrats.

I know the crankbait bite was off big time today. NE wind, rain, fog, anything else I can blame it on?

fished ky lake last wkend we were down for more of a recreational trip but did some fishing mostly from daylight to about 10-11am. pulled cranks the whole time fish were few and far between but the ones we caught were all huge fish full of eggs. pink seemed to be the hottest color. fished big bear and bays in that vicinity of the lake. we got into to many catfish trying to fish about 10-15 ft down so we moved to deeper water, 15-30fow had out 110-130ft of line. hoping maybe once the lake and weather stabilize a little more cranking will get better. came home with around 20 keepers
