    Default Florida Fishing Report Lakeland


    Sort of a " Crappy" report! LOL but at least I tried.

    Tried another Lake at Tenoroc, water was almost " frog spit green". Water temp was 82, no wind, bright sun. Tried to fish as many shady spots and deep water holes we could find. Ended up with 2 catfish, one was 5-6 lbs, 1 10" Crappie and one very small bluegill, for 4 hours of fishing. Trolling small jigs and minnows.

    Best part of the day was fishing with my new found friend, who likes to fish as much as I do. Sometimes it's NOT all about the catchin!

    I must confess though, I am getting kind of hungry for some deep fried Specks!

    I don't get skunked often, but when I do, I prefer Teneroc...
