    Default New Tying Station

I wanted to share this with you guys. It's been a lot of work getting to this point.

About a month ago, my wife acquired a desk that belonged to her father. Her father passed away back in the early 80's. It was in pretty sad shape. I had to rebuild some drawers, and tighten several joints. I removed all the built up varnish and stain taking it down to bare wood. I stained it completely inside and out with a stain called Cabernet by Rustoleum, then put on 5 coats of Polyurethane. It took all month to complete. Its going to be my new tying station.

Great job on the re-finish. That will make you a nice tying desk.

Great job on refinish. Nothing like bringing something old back to life. I really like what you did with the handles, that is a neat touch.

Pretty fancy tying station but I'm sure that you will get many years of enjoyment.
