Thread: Transducer Cable on Minn Kota Powerdrive V2?

Does anyone have a remedy for not getting an external transducer cable caught in the mount of a Powerdrive V2 when deploying the motor? I installed my new motor yesterday and when I deployed the motor after putting a zip tie just below the latch collar and one above the depth collar, the cable found it's way into the mount and some of the insulation peeled back.
