HDTV antenna and roku. But if internet keeps going up. I am going to just have the local tv channels I get with HDTV antenna. I will just entertain myself by doing more crappie fishing. I also have the old hard line phone that has went up had it for over 40 years it may go next also.
Be safe and good luck fishing

I had direct satelite for years. They kept slowly increasing my payments til I finally realized...I dont even watch tv anyways. I called and cancelled them. They had asked my reasons and I told them the monthly got above what I wanted to pay, and that I was satisfied with their business except for that. And that I never watched TV anyways. 2 hours later they called me back, wanted to "Lock" me into a rate of what I believe was $29/month and it would never increase and that I would get to keep all my channels. When I was told that I was real mad because I had been paying almost $100 for a couple years. I told em where to go and that I wasn't interested in the Lock in rate! Shot myself in the foot there lol. Thats been 3 years ago, still dont pay for tv. But I do enjoy watching tv the older I get hahahaha lmbo!

I bet between our internet, cell phone, Cable TV, and controlled climate storage fee for extra space, I could buy a brand new truck for less,,, I figured about $740 for all my services,,, crazy or what? I bet some folks mortgages are cheaper then that ....

I had direct TV for about 10 years, 2 receivers. Every year when the bill went up I called retention dept and they put it back. Was always about $60. On the 10th year, they wouldnt forego the increase, so I cancelled and went with Dish. 2 recievers, HD, DVR, sling and the bill is $57 month. I've had it for 4 years and have had to call a time or two when they tried to increase it, but so far they have kept my bill at $57 .

Call Comcast and complain. They went up on mine a couple years ago and I told them I couldn't afford them anymore and was gonna switch to something else. They lowered my bill and even gave me more channels. Call and complain......

For several years, we had DSL broadband from ATT. It worked pretty well with my son watching Netflix while I worked on-line, but it struggled a bit when we would both try to stream video. Last year the ATT router went out. In the process of replacing it I learned that they had just added Uverse out here, so I got to upgrade. It has been great. I can watch Acorn Tv while Tommy watches Netflix and it is flawless.

That said, have you thought about keeping just the basic cable package, and filling in the blanks with Netflix, Hulu, etc.? Basic cable is cheap, and Comcast does it's best to bury the option, but they do offer it. Check out this link if you're interested.
