    In case someone wants to try one, here a picture for reference.


    This guy landed on our driveway while we were unloading groceries. It was coming a pretty good rain too. Me and wife found him a dry spot under the wave of our house, so maybe he can dry out and then be on his way to wherever

    I can remember seeing them by the thousands right at dusk when I was growing up.

    We always get them by the bunch here in East Texas. That would be the large size one.

    I played around at the tying vise yesterday and the one I tied looks close to your pic. I think it will fish well on the fly rod.

    The material is Thin-Wing. It's used in fly tying and you use a wing burner to cut out the shape you want using a brass wing pattern.
