Have they told you an expected ship date on yours? I have one on order also and was told Feb 4 when I ordered it. I haven't heard anything different from them yet.

Don't have my new motor yet but I have used these motors and they are a god send. A few more software tweaks and I hope it is golden after that. 2 friends have theirs now and are not having any issues. They got the same call and will get new motors shipped out after the software tweak is completed. I will be a happy camper when I get mine.

Man I hope they get these fixed. Almost bought the first one they put out years ago. But talked myself out of it. And was glad I did as most were junk. But thinking this one will be the ticket soon. Be nice to sit my big butt in the back of the boat. And let the trolling motor do its job. I know my back will love it and I can fish more then.![]()
Got mine on Friday but can't get the bird to recognize it
The 999ci HD doesn't see the I pilot
Any ideas where I went wrong?

Did you hook the ethernet cable from the trolling motor to the Bird?
Just bought one a couple weeks ago, no problem with stow and deploy works perfect and I love it. My problem so far is voltage and load. It's running about 3 hours and turns off. Load tested batteries and I have 1 battery showing bad. A one year old interstate battery will be replaced and I hope that fixes the problem. Other than that those 3 hours of fishing/trolling is awesome. I'll update after battery is replaced.
I was starting to only get about 4 hours trolling time on my batteries. I had 2 extra batteries but I didnt wanna toss the batteries that i was already using because I am getting that much time out of em on 8-10 speed. So I had 2 other decent batteries already in about the same shape. So I put 2 batteries up on the deck of my boat and bought 4 six foot 6 guage wires and wired all 4 batteries together. Can do it in 5 minutes and it will troll a solid 12-14 hours! I only use it like this when I crank because Im running my motor at such high speed for so long. Wen spider rigging i dont have any problems with batteries dying.
