    Just hiked the Gubeikou section. you have to google it. no pics till I get back. weather has been great for site seeing. lots of walking traffic is terrible, using the subway to go to the forbidden city and to the square

    Visited Mao tomb today. And the heaven temple.

    eating well.

    taking the high speed train to see the terracotta soldiers Saturday then to thailand then to cambodia.

    Thats awesome - in all my world travels in the Air Force - I never made it to that part... I bet its awesome. Waiting for pictures....

    Awesome trip. Try to go see the terra cotta warriors if you can. It's a long trip but it is a great wonder to see all of that stuff that was hidden for centuries.

    JR be careful my parents went last year and they both got upper respiratory infections from the smog. Definitely go see the Terra Cotta Warriors they said it was one of the highlights of their trip.
