    Managed 13 fishing all day long single pole. Deeper water and every one was female with eggs. So, next full moon or whatever do these make another run to shallow? I kind of think they're spawning in deeper water on stumps or whatever--which I've heard before. Especially since the lake "was" on a fall.

    Tough fishing. Fished 10,006 trees. I counted!!!!

    Calmest day I've had all year, so no complaints. Those dang gnats will just about drive you insane though at times. Didn't see any of those black bugs from last week. Fished a lot of territory to find those 13. Would have managed a limit except a rain storm ran me off. Couldn't tell which way it was moving on the lake. Safe than sorry as they say.
