    Default A Little Maintenance

Every once in a while I have to take a day to just fix the minor things that happen when fishing. Had to put a new rope on the front of the boat, tighten a few screws, etc. I also had to remove all the wiring and transducer from the HB 798 since it went out a couple of weeks ago.
Got all that done and cleaned out a couple of storage places and still had time to put my replacement for the 798 on the boat. It was a good day to get ready for the summer bite

I forgot to mention getting the trash out from behind my props on both the trolling motor and the outboard. It's amazing what gets behind the prop.

Gonna give you a VERY good tip on using that unit. Look in your menu and turn "switch fire" on MAX mode then put the sensitivity to 3 on that screen. This is Not for down or side imaging it is for your color sonar. After you find where you are gonna fish utilize this screen set up for better view of fish and baitfish. This is the screen I use while fishing and if anyone ever spent a day with me seeing it used more would use it as well.

I check for line around my prop 3-4 times a year. Cheaper that seals.
