I emailed Mike Wood a couple days ago to ask what the states plan with Bussey was. He put me in touch with the manager for district 2, Ryan Daniel. This is Mr. Daniels reply email to me. I figure their has to be a couple people on here interested in this....

We have multiple projects planned to renovate Bussey. These include boat lane construction, fish removal, fishing piers, fish attractors, breakwater and dock construction at the boat launch, maintenance to pump and drain gate, and other lake bottom work. As you likely know, much of the lake bottom is still covered in water, delaying some work. Other projects are currently being designed by contracted engineers. A priority for this summer will be removing additional water by deepening of the ditches in a few locations. Other projects should begin soon thereafter. Our goal is to completely and properly renovate Bussey, which will take some time. We know this is an inconvenience for some, though we think our project will be worth the wait. I currently anticipate re-filling to begin in 2017. Thanks for your interest.

Yes but it would be hard to do with it like this.
