    Default Fish finder choice

Ok I'm on a budget of $150, that's all the boss (wife) is letting me have.
So what would be the best bang for the buck, I'm leaning toward the elite 4 dsi.
    Thanks for any info

I would try to find a used one from someone on here that is upgrading. Should be able to get a 2D with GPS and color for around that. I would go with a minimum of a 5" screen.
I was going to suggest this one but looks like it just sold. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/perso...a/#post2981173

But keep checking the ads and one will pop up. Get you a lot more features than a new one for $150

Lowrance LMS 500 or 300 series was pretty good. I liked my 520's anyway. I think you would appreciate that a little more because it would give you a bigger screen and gps capabilities.

Go watch the classifieds at Bass Boat Central. Lots of fishfinders on there.

Get an HDS 5 gen 1 used if you look hard enough you can find them for around 150 and they are great units
