I have 3 great hero's, John Wayne,Popcorn Sutton and Junior Samples, one of which is my avatar, Popcorn.
I also have the pro crappie 175 2011 model 60 hp four stroke. They are all weld now. I top out at about 33 mph with ME and all the STUFF I have in it. You can't loose with the 70 hp. I really like my boat. It's perfect for crappie fishing and can be used for multi species. I have it rigged for spyder rigging and long lining. There are 2 live wells and multiple locations to place the fishing seats. 2 issues - The battery compartment is cramped. I had a problem with the hose from the bilge pump coming a loose and was difficult to repair. Tracker repaired it at no cost. Pros outweigh the cons.
I love mine! I have a 2013 TF Coastal with the 60hp and its a fishing machine....everything from spider rigging/longlining crappie, pitchin crickets for bream, catfish jugging to catching gator trout in the flats. The vinyl flooring is nice, get home scrub it down wash it out the bilge and its clean...2 live wells, plenty of storage and lots of room. It will run 35mph(per the GPS on my HBird 999) at 5500 rpm with 2 men and a boatload of fishing gear. Not blistering fast but it gets me where I want to go and is reasonable on gas ...if they had had offered the 4-stroke 75 for it in '13 I would have went with it...but i didn't want another 2-stroke. Also the Relvolution hull is a smooth ride in chopy water..
Downsides...vinyl gets slick in freezing cold temps, battery compartment is TIGHT...other than that I haven't had any complaints in the 2 years I have owned mine.
For the Everlasting Glory of the Infantry.
