What's up everyone? I went down to Sardis last Sunday only to find a swarm of black flying bugs all over the lake. They were sitting on the water and flying every where. They were all over the boat to. We didn't have any luck and cut our time short because of the bugs. Did anyone else deal with this?

Love Bugs that have wandered up here from Central America. Some Florida University is getting the blame for introducing them this far North. Will last about a month then about a month this fall. Hard to fish with them down your collar, in your eyes, and ears.
Tell'em I'll be there.
Only thing that bothers me is their smell,,,,,smell so bad it takes the paint off your car if you don't clean it,,,
Ranger boats
Perotti pro holders
Avery outdoors superstore
on the flip side if the wind is blowing they don't take flight....wind stops and all over everything.
LivetoFish
they are called Love Bugs....their body juice is very acidic and will eat the chrome away if not washed off right away....
Not buffalo gnats? I hate those things!!!
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang and
a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.
No, different bug. Just as annoying but smell terrible when you mash them. Has an odor like a stink bug only different kind of smell. Just as obnoxious though. He has no sense of survival just like the buffalo gnats. You can swat at them with you're hat and they will still land on your face.
Tell'em I'll be there.
