    Default Lake Hickory 5/17


    On the water before the sun was up and catching a good mess Shooting docks with 15fow or better with BG jigs, color did not really seem to matter. Had to watch the line for slightest movement, they were not real aggressive. Gave it up around 12pm cause the weekend boaters were starting to get to much for me. Talked with another fisherman shooting docks also and was also catching some fish. Brought back a mess of 10 crappie with an average of 11" with the largest going 16", did catch some smaller, but put em back to grow up to be caught another day.
    Difference between day and night: Day= one rod, one jig/Night= Many rods & a bucket full of minners
