Here is another old-timer called the skunk it also was real popular years ago you showed me what it was similar I use a lot of these fishing for crappie they did a real good job and I've got lots of fish on them.

this one could be easily made is you can use lead wire for the head and a course to tale you could use a wide variety of material but marabou was more used.

would you buy them if they were available again. they were pretty deadly many years ago but I cheated we would use a little bit of crappie and put on the trailer it was deadly that is what we used to call cut bait seems like the fish could not resist their own human bodies must be the smell or something that they were attracted to but it always work. check your game rules before you do this.

I would like to hear more from you guys on the good old days and some of the fishing tackle that was used for crappie it has come a long ways since the late 50s and 60s when the little jigs were available in the above pictures it would be fun to turn back the clock and fished in many different ways we used to using cut bait from the crappie was the most common when I was a kid.

skip we are going to have to get busy and make up some of those no-name and maybe some skunks. I got an idea with the skunks using lead wire for the body will have to give it a shot.
