Default If your Plastics are Getting a Little Old, Hard, or Dry use this

    Walgreens Mineral Oil Intestinal Lubricant.
So drop the Bomb on your old hard plastics.

Seriously this is great stuff to recondition your plastics. odorless, colorless, tasteless. Just takes a few drops, And if you feel the need take you a sip.

Thanks for the idea CP. If I get thirsty I will reach for a different bottle. Lol

I bought some believed it would be good then read this ? It was posted by a guy from a lure company .

The worm oil thing is this. Mineral oil drys out and breaks down the plastiziers in the worms and you should never use it. You did right with your vegetable oil. The best thing to use is the stuff that they call Worm Oil. This can be found from some of your freinds that hand pour worms. This is normaly called Worm Oil but is really dioctyl-phthalate or dioctyl-adipate. They are the oils that you get on your fingers when you open a new bag of slimy-slipery worms. This is the good stuff and is better to use than canola, vetgetable oil etc. They are ok and won't harm anything and are used in most of the fish attractants on the market.

Never tried this stuff but I know the stuff I posted above don't seem to dry out at all or break down anything I put some on allot of my plastics a few months ago and they are in good shape. I imagine in a plano box tho anything will dry out if not sealed tight. But hey if it works for you.
