Default Kayak Trip Report, Barron Fork Creek

I fished Barron Fork Creek off Zeirdt Road this morning, caught 50 or so Crappie, half would have kept. All returned to the water (freezer is full). Also found gills on the bed. Plan to go back in the morning for a limit of gills for dinner. Found a few on laydowns, but most were on a small spinner, red in color. All the Crappie were beat up and looked spawned out. Good to know the fish spawned somewhere this year.

There's not a lot of fish in there, the water is only two or three feet deep, but I know just about every stump so I can always get a few.
