    Default Good Fishin...Great Friend

Finally a long weekend. So met up with Ron (aka..BiggDawgg ) at Ebenezer bout 6:45 today. Went to a place he said he caught fish before. He was on the mark. Put lines out in 20 - 25 fow. Pulling jigs of assorted weight and color. Most bites in the 12 to 18 ft. range. No prefered color. We solved all the worlds problems and may have added some new ones. But it was a good day. Wind picked up bout 10:00 to not so good level. By 12:00 it was gettin ugly out there. Ron showed me a few things bout longlining I had been missing. Paid off for us. We ended a good day with 26 crappie on the clicker. Kept 11. 30 or more perch. And a 21 lb. cat that broke off at the boat. Hey it's my story. But for real it was 4 - 5 lb. and on one of Rons rods. I was accused of lettin the biggun get away. We had fun for sure. Thanks Dawgg for the lesson. Ya think maybe I can get on the Wylie Attack Squad with you guys now ? And CK , He did not give up any secret spots you showed him. Maybe next time.Picture is my guide in action. And trying to show the waves rolling by us. Ron got a couple of pics he may post.Name: 20150508_122742.jpg

Looks like you all had a great time. Ron looks like he is really into it and focused. Time for a yum yum for dinner.

I was trying to throw ofishlbizness over the side with the jack rabbit button because he wouldn't let me use the gator aide bottle up front. His plan was to make me suffer bladder expansion as therapy for when I get my knee surgery. I do think in the fall we should do some long lining in a convoy and see how many we could get if we set up staggered out.

I think it would be a great idea for fall to have a long line conga.
