I don't think it's just Missouri, I think the whole site is down some....at least in the sub-forums I spend most of my time reading. And then the fact that we(I) talk to people who ask about C.C so I ask if they are members. "Oh no, I just read it to find out when and where the fish are biting, but I'm not a member." So I think successful posts about fishing drop off this time of year because members feel they are being used a little.

I'm guilty too. Lately I've been working from 6:00 in the morning until 9-9:30 at night. Then doing all over again the next day. I don't think I fished a total of 3 times this spring. Hope to remedy that soon.

on another note, Hogster, we didnt' get to meet at Camp, my time was limited and you were busy cooking Saturday evening, but I want to thank you and anyone else that worked at making Camp a success.
We will have to remedy that next camp if not sooner. Thank you though I enjoy cooking for everyone it just don't leave much time to shoot the bull and meet everyone there.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Well I didn't post a report after our fishing trip Sunday at Bucksaw. It was our first trip there for a few years and I figured you guys know more about whats going on than I did. And if you know who I had with me you would know why! Yep she did it again!

I did post something new in the Weather Thread. And I did some other posts so I figured I was boring everyone to death!

As some of you may know or not know we haven't had the boat out for a few years due to my health issues. The meds that they have me one sometimes make me dizzy and sleepy. And honestly I didn't feel good enough to even enjoy fishing. At one point I thought about selling the boat. But we decided to try it this spring so we pulled the boat out and did tune ups on it. If it hadn't been for a good friend helping out we wouldn't have gotten it done.

Sunday was only the 3rd trip out this year. I have my good days and I have my bad days. And as for the future I will be limited to fishing trips only with someone else in the boat. At least that is what I have promised the wife and my fishing partner Marcus.

Between mowing and rain it's been hard to find a decent day or two to fish.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

I went to the Smithville Tuesday but didn't post anything because all I caught were dinks, I want to go back to Truman. I can get back on the water this year so hopefully I will be able to post a little more. And still recovering from spring camp and trying to get the grass cut that I blew off before camp.
